Hi all.

I currently have a 2 month visa which I can extend for a further month on the 15th of March at the Thai immigration in Bangkok. Recently I have been invited to join some family in Malaysia on the 6th of March, please can someone advise me how this will affect my current visa.

Any exit of Thailand will end your current visa entry/permitted to stay stamp unless you obtain a re-entry permit at the cost of 1,000 baht prior to your exit of Thailand. That would keep your current permitted to stay alive until March 15 and as long as you return before that date you would still be able to obtain a normal 30 day extension of stay from Immigration.
