Boy savaged by dogs recovering in ICU

A seven-year-old boy is recovering from an “unprovoked attack” on Sunday by four stray dogs in the Ban Tha Noon area of Phang Nga’s Takua Thung district. Yeunyong “Nong D-Max” Chairap, who is being treated at Phuket’s Vachira Phuket Hospital’s intensive care unit, is conscious and has a normal blood pressure but still requires constant medical surveillance to prevent possible infection.

Junta downplays surveillance of Pheu Thai politician as she campaigns

BANGKOK (Reuters) - Thailand on Monday effectively revoked all foreign patent requests for the use of marijuana, after fears foreign firms would dominate a market thrown open last month when the government approved the drug for medical use and research.

Smog causes 82-mln-USD economic loss in Bangkok: research
