Fish pond filter
Hi. I think that canister filters like the one pictured are better suited for indoor use. You are better to buy a dedicated outside pond unit ( or make one yourself - YouTube is your friend!) I have a Boyu unit - okay , but not great. My pond is about 4x2x1.5m - and i need to clean filter elements monthly. I also had to fit a stronger pump, as the original did not last long. (about 6 mths). I use bore water - and it is Very hard!! Not salty , but heaps of Calcium. -

What is needed to renew two year drivers license at Pranburi
Yes, @ Pranburi you do, if memory serves, or it's first come first serve, which means you may not get in first viewing after you arrive. Pranburi is where I renewed last time. If DLT is down, he'll need to stop in anyway, If they require a med cert, then he should ask to see a sample, or even recommendation what doc/clinic will do it. As made that mistake one year somewhere, and they didn't accept the form I had. Thought that was really strange. As stated earlier, not sure if Pranburi required one. At the time, 3 yrs ago, they did not require a CoR, IF having yellow book. Strange that PKK municipality did. Why I used Pranburi, as on the way to HH for a CoR anyway, as saved a further drive, a wait at IMM & 500 baht. -

Can't Come In Without A Boarding Pass!
It is a requirement without a punishement. We have been coming to Thailand for 26 years and have only been asked once or twice My boarding pass usually is on my mobile now , I throw paper boarding passes in the bin in the planes lavatory. I do this purposely to shame them. When I fly on KE with airline staff discount tickets I cannot use the mobile boarding pass however. Last week at Chiang Mai Airport, I was asked for my boarding pass by some little dyke. I thought I left it in my seat back pocket, so I told her my flight number. Done. -

Divorced couple, legal father, mother dissappeared
After a fight the mother dissappeared, wont pick up calls, blocked everything. Left child behind. Happened once before, gone for 2 months but at least then she spoke, kept in touch. This time much worse, kid is 2, obviously its bad for him these "breaks", im taking care of him fully, and willing to take full custody or shared, but 0 cooperation from her side, worried she will come fight for him after a few months. Whats the best and fastest way to go about this? Are courts quick here? How are my chances? Really not looking to get into a war but she is leaving me no choice -

Any advantages to retirement over marriage visa?
Well IME Immigration call and tell you what time they are coming, so no need to hang around all day, my wife has no relatives, we use direct neighbors and never heard of 2 witnesses being wanted. One time we did use a Witness who lived miles away, they came early and had to wait for me to pick her up.
