BANGKOK, 13th February 2019 (NNT) - Deputy Prime Minister and Defence Minister General Prawit Wongsuwanhas ordered officials to look after the public on Valentine’s Day.

Spokesperson for the Ministry of Defense, Lieutenant General Kongcheep Tantravanich said today that Gen Prawit urged police and provincial administrators to ensure public safety on Valentine’s Day, which is celebrated by many young couples.

He encouraged stricter supervision of nightclubs and areas where minors and teenagers congregate, in order to prevent potentially dangerous situations.

He urged the authorities to take charge with compassion for the public, while asking for parents’ involvement to guide their children with moral and cultural values.

Ole Fatty ordered officials to look after the public on Valentines day, strange thing to say.

Is it not their job to look after the public every day?

Yes, its the prime responsibility of any Government to care for its citizens.

But  hey ! TIT, and life is so cheap.
