webfact Posted March 12, 2019 Share Posted March 12, 2019 "Asian" woman with head injury fished from canal in central Bangkok Picture: Sanook Yanawa police were called after staff on the BRT bus line found the body of a young woman floating in the canal in the central reservation of the Naratiwas Ratchanakharin Road yesterday. Sanook reported that the body looked like that of a foreigner possibly Korean, Chinese or Japanese. The woman was about 20-35 years old and was wearing a white shirt and blue skirt. Police noticed that the body had a head wound. There was no ID on the body. The body was taken to Chulalongkorn Hospital for autopsy. BRT (Bus Rapid Transport) security man Suchart Phungjan, 42 said he was alerted by staff at the Chan station of the discovery of the woman.
