Users worldwide are reporting issues with a number of Google services, including Gmail and Google Drive.

Problems were reported by users in Asia, including Thailand, as well as in the UK, Australia, US and Europe.

Some users reported being unable to send email, while others said they were unable to open or download attachments.

In a statement, Google said: “We’re investigating reports of an issue with Gmail. We will provide more information shortly. The affected users are able to access Gmail, but are seeing error messages, high latency, and/or other unexpected behaviour.”

The issues appear to affect both G Suite and regular Gmail users.

Gmail has more than one billion users worldwide.

Users also reported issues with Google Maps, although Google was yet to confirm any outages with its navigation service.

No issues sending/receiving gmail today thus far.

Seems to work again.

I could use it in the morning.. then i could not send anymore for a while and now I can. So that part is solved.

I got a message saying there was and attempted unauthorised access to my gmail account when it was actually me logging on from where I have logged in many times before. They said the login was blocked but it wasn't because I have just sent out over 100 mails without any problems.

Facebook has been down in my part of California and Washington State where my son is for the last five hours as of this post. I don't believe in coincidences. Gmail appears to be working fine.
