What a load of (well-meaning) crap.   "...Here’s what Thailand needs to thrive..."   What Thailand needs is to shed the life-sucking power of the military on Thai governance. Until

All government employees and military personnel should be required to spend some of their time (all funded by taxpayers) fixing infrastructure and other tasks for the common good.

Prisoners should be sent out daily to fix roads and sidewalks.

All business owners who keep their properties and easements clean of litter and in good repair should be rewarded with a tax break or other reward

Littering laws, smoking laws, motorcycles on sidewalk laws - need to be enforced.

Bottom line - people need to take responsibility for their actions and have pride in their country.

As JFK said, ask not what your country can do for you, ask what you can do for your country.

Among infrastructure mega-projects, the Eastern Economic Corridor (EEC) programme is sound and promises to revitalise foreign-investor interest in Thailand

Owned and operated by China, which intends to build its own administrative center with its own Chinese population of managers, technicians, and laborers. An article in the Bangkok Post yesterday about the EEC and China wanting estate land clearly states that China wants to establish its own "community" in Thailand. Thailand will look like Cambodia and Laos.

I'd quite like to see the forum rule which ways 'No over-size emojis allowed' but then erhaps it's just another one of the 'make it up as you go along' approach that poor-quality managers everywhere love so much.

Emojis are a joke anyway, some Apple version upgrades consist only of a few new emojis (I can't really think of a use for an emoji which is a picture of a giraffe, but hey, room for all - right?).

Baubles and trinkets - pointless for anyone with an IQ in double figures.

Or not...
