Delhi has more graduates than any other city in the world per head of population. However the vast majority buy their degrees without even setting foot in a university. Not worth the paper they are written on.

Also, average IQ in India = 82. UK= 100. That's a huge difference in terms of IQ. Thailand=91. That should tell you everything you need to know about the average intelligence of Indians.

The main idea of showing that chart was to highlight the huge number of Chinese STEM graduates, not India's. Yes, India too may have a huge number of STEM graduates, but it is also well known that a huge number of them graduated from low-quality private engineering colleges, whereas around 94% of China undergraduates study at public universities.

If TAT is targeting engineers from India as potential tourists then it would be sorely disappointed because many Indian STEM graduates are doing mostly odd jobs or jobs that don't suit their qualifications, such as at call centres. That's because a lot of them are unemployable due to their low skills:

India's Young Graduate Engineers Struggle to Find Work as Jobs Crisis Worsens

Over here in Malaysia, many companies are discovering that a lot of programmers from India are lousy, although they are some good ones from there. "They are good at playing tai-chi" is the usual complain about them.

Old Malay proverb:

If you want a bridge building, go to a Chinese Malay.

If you want your laptop repairing, go to an Indian Malay.

If you don't want anything doing, go to a Malay Malay.

What ever the stats are, think of the current state of the country and it's population.

Today,  stats are manipulated. As authentic as the Indian degrees.

Haha. Not sure if I have heard of that before but yeah, we do have our racial stereotypes. Some of the racist jokes put the Indians at the bottom and some put the Malays at the bottom and some put the Chinese at the bottom.

Btw, most of the computer repair shops in Plaza Imbi and Low Yat Plaza in Kuala Lumpur are run by Pakistanis. You may consider them as Indians too, as they came from the Indian sub-continent. Local Indians are not known to own much businesses. But they do dominate in some fields, such as moneychangers, barber shops (which have to compete against unisex hair saloons, dominated by the Chinese), recycling centres and of course, Indian restaurants.

Anybody who's had the misfortune of dealing with Indian outsourced IT can attest to the effect of this.

Interestingly here's a pic of the exam procedure in many universities their friends are climbing the walls and passing them answers...  in fairness to Indians many are competent and intelligent like any other country and why they scored so low on IQ tests I am actually surprised perhaps it has something to do with a poor education system.

I recall talking to an IT guy who said most of the Indians getting recruited to high paying IT jobs did not have a clue what they were doing and that they would just fake it and learn as much as they can on the job.

IQ tests are not related to education. They scored so low because they're not brainy.

Four of the top six are of Chinese descent. The others are Japan and Korea. Go east for brainy people. Italians are next on the list but most Western European countries are all very close. Americans not so much. 555

It’s a simple matter of numbers.

we all know that the overwhelming majority of Indians are pxss poor.

yet you only need 10% of the population to realise that makes 133,000,000 people, that’s double the population of the U.K. and we all know how many Brits are here.

There are only 4 ethnic Indians and 7 ethnic Malays in this list of 50 richest Malaysians, the rest are ethnic Chinese:

Interestingly, the richest ethnic Indian in the list, Ananda Krishnan, is a Theravada Buddhist. His only son is a Northern Thai forest monk, Ajahn Siripanyo.

If you look at all the countries in Southeast Asia, you would notice that the countries with the highest number of Chinese in percentage terms are the most successful: 1. Singapore (74% Chinese) 2. Malaysia (25% Chinese) 3. Thailand (10 to 14% Chinese) 4. Brunei (10% Chinese)

If you go back in history, you will see who were the most advanced in civilisation. Nature has its own system of recycling, I suspect! No one can stay at the top for ever. Today a huge turn around can be seen, hence all these accusations and wild insults are been thrown around. Life is tough, accept it!
