According to the following link. There exists an EX catagory visa.

In the list of requirements (Bottom of Page) I cannot find the criteria for EX catagory (loads of O, B etc) and I have not as yet come accross a definition.

Anybody know where I can find more info?

NON-EX is a very rare visa type. It is issued to foreigners to conduct scientific research or training or teaching in a research institute or performing skilled or expert work at a research institute.
