retayl
We are an English couple who stay in Thailand for 4 months every year. The first 90 days are covered by non imm O visa. For the final month we take a short break in neighbouring country and use visa exempt stamp for the final 30 days. Next week we fly to KL, stay for a few days and fly back to Hua Hin on Saturday 6th. Due to a death in the family we are flying to London on Monday 8th attending the funeral and flying back arriving in BKK Friday 12th. Question - is there likely to be any issues with us re- entering Thailand within such a short time with IO?
ubonjoe
No problem in you case since you started out with a non-o visa and your subsequent entries visa exempt will not be considered out/in's to extend your stay.

Zack61
Why not take out a 2 month multiple entry tourist visa and leave the country on a planned holiday to a neighboring country and then be back in Thailand before your 60 day visa expires. Automatically you get another 2 months amounting to four months in total. This was the case a few years back so hopefully someone could confirm if still the same now. rickudon
There is only the 6 month validity multiple entry tourist visa, but it does require some supporting documents and is somewhat expensive. Single entry tourist visas would be cheaper, but I think you can only have one at a time, so would require an extra embassy/consulate visit. What the OP was going to do seems the most economical and sensible approach - as long as you spend less than 6 months a year in Thailand and only one or two visa exemptions, not likely to be an issue. There is no such visa in existence and there has never been one. At one time you could get a 2 entry tourist visa. Only a multiple entry tourist visa is available that allows unlimited 60 day entries for 6 months from the date of issue.
