Have you found any better brand for the same price ?

Buying at Lazada or Makro is equal ?

Thanks.

What I found interesting with Natural is to be able to adjust temperature to use it as a fridge if needed:

ปรับอุณหภุมิเริ่มต้น 3°C ถึงสูงสุด – 23°C ( REFRIGERATE – FREEZE )

It is not written on other freezers description, but maybe it's usual ?!

I have a large (largest size they make) double lid Haier freezer.

I chose this one because it was the largest freezer available on the day I wanted it and was also available for immediate delivery on the same day.

That was about 4 years ago. No problems with it. There is no facility that I've noticed on the model I have to set it in fridge mode.

If it ever breaks I will just buy a new one.

I bought a freezer from the local Makro last year.  I was comparing prices and features of the models on display with the assistance of an employee. I had narrowed the selections down to two from those on display then decided on a Natural brand.  The employee helping me started moving the display models aside and pulled out another unit from behind and set it next to the one I had chosen.  The unit he pulled out having a slightly different designed control knob and power light. The model numbers were the same and the build date of the second unit was 4 months older and the price was discounted 1200 baht lower than the newer model. Couldn't pass on the 1200 baht savings with free delivery. The Natural I have looks very much like the one in your Makro link.

Hi, thank you, have you tried to set it at the minimum to know if it really work as a fridge ?

Can you check the position of the regulator now ? do you put it the coldest possible ?

Thanks again.

I bought it to use as a freezer.  So, I have never tried to use it as a refrigerator. The dial on the temp control is numbered 1-8. From 1 to 3 there is a solid black bar and between 2-3 it is marked "refrigerator". Numbers 3-8 have a black dot between each number, 6 is marked "freeze" and 8 is marked "deep freeze". I have mine set between 6-7 and the temp is -16 C.

If you Google "recommended freezer temps" you'll find that there will be a larger amount of frost build-up, at the lowest settings. More frost build-up reduces efficiency.

Thank you. Bought at Makro it seems that your freezer is Natural brand.

It seems to be the only one that allows to use it not too cold (as a fridge), for example when your main fridge breaks down.

The only cheaper available now is Haier brand, sold online:
