I'm not absolutely sure about this, but believe concourse A is for domestic flights, so day rooms probably wouldn't be there. Having said that- this is Thailand after all, and stranger things have been known to happen!

The Louis Tavern Dayrooms on Concourse A are international side. The lowest level of Concourse A is indeed domestic, but Levels 3 & 4 are international, albeit there are no international gates there, nor anyway of going between the international and domestic levels of the concourse.

The Dayrooms are at the Louis Tavern Lounge on Concourse A, Level 3. You have to walk down a ways, using the travelators if desired, but on your return there are no travelators going in that direction. There is also another Louis Tavern Lounge that recently opened on Concourse C, which isn't too far away, so don't confuse the two. AFAIK, there are no rooms at the LT lounge on Concourse C, only the one on Concourse A. When you reach the LT Lounge, just ask the staff there about the rooms. It's the same staff for both the lounge and the rooms.

2000 Baht for 4 hours.

any joiner fee ?

As of 3/5/07 G had 64 rooms and A had 14 rooms with more to open on both sides as there will be 100 on each side when completed...of so says the person whom answered the phone at the front desk of G when I called!

I recently stumbled across the dayroom facility and booked 4 hours, nice rooms and a welcome catnap inbetween flights in what would have to be the most uncomfortable airport for passengers in transit.

It is fairly hidden away though. I was a bit pissed when I found them as two days before I was told that the only accomodation near the airport was the Novitel and @ 8000 Baht a night through the Hotel booking desk at the airport.... I wouldnt go out of principal. :o

I later learned that an internet booking will get you a room at the Novitel for 4000 baht.

I also tried to get into the dayroom on A but as it was midnight and I couldnt check in on my domestic flight (closed) I had to join the 100 or so other transit travellers catnapping on floors and uncomfortable steel benches. They should take a few tips from Changi Airport in Singapore.

The reason I was late at the check in was because we were delayed climbing down from a 747 on to some buses then all passengers funneled up one set of escalators etc etc. Bloody ridiculous arrangement and a total letdown for a "state of the art" airport.

Sorry getting of track here, yes the rooms are nice and comfortable.

I have looked for this place at the new airport and never found them. Do they have a website? Phone number? Are they really at Suvarnabhumi?

A and G are both the same length, surely? They were when it was being constructed.

Transit is much better through Changi or Chep Lap Kok, even through KL.

Although I was part of the construction team, I am not proud of what we built.

Very poor design, very little thought of what a modern 'hub' needs.

But still, better than Jeddah, Riyadh or Dammam airports.

Ha ha, a few tips?...they should have studied it throughly and used it as a starting point for a pleasant, astetic, functional facility rather then pulling a page out of a 1950's copy of Uzbekistan Architecture Today.

Suvanabhumi is an insult to travelers.
