So what might they bring to Asia, and when?

There was/is talk of a new battery  and EV plant in the Eastern Economic corridor ( Chonburi)

I don't think fully electric is viable yet...the battery technology has not improved much, range is low there are no charging stations, charging takes too long, the vehicles are expensive, batteries don't last anywhere near an engine does and are expensive to replace, producing the electricity to charge the batteries comes from ?

Why don't they make/produce/develop an on demand in car hydrogen fuel cell..

which just uses water as fuel ?

could either run a conventional engine or produce electricity for an all electric , cheap fuel quick and easy to top up the water tank..only produces enough hydrogen to run the car so no need to store it in a dangerous canister.

What would be the point, in thailand,  if the electricity still comes from a fossil fuel power station. its just moving the pollution/greenhouse gases from the car to the power station.

Toyota does with massive support from the Japanese government.

I can only shake my head about the battery car hype.

Volkswagen boss lost his mind.
