Caprion: (Slow) Movement of Thai people!

Thai Rath reported that the exodus of the Thai people from Bangkok to the countryside for Songkran had begun.

But it was slow and traffic heading for the north east was at a crawl or even at a standstill.

There was particularly bad traffic in the Muak Lek to Pak Chong area of the Friendship Highway with the Klang Dong Hill jam packed with cars heading away for the holidays.

At 8-9pm KM markers 36 - 39 and 51-52 in the area of Choke Chai Farm were particularly bad.

A Thaivisa reporter said that the northern Bangkok area was very busy until late last night.

Exodus, movement of Thai people.

Men in cars will run ya down
When they jump the light
Let me tell you if you're not wrong
Them Thais is always right
So we cannot walk
Through the roads of congestion
We the generation
Thread through with great tribulation.

They know where they're going

They know where they're from

They're leaving Babylon

Going to their parents land.

Let the mass culling continue.  My fridge is stocked, and I'll read the repeat of last year's news every morning.

Something like over 80% of the deaths at Songkran are motorcyclists, young people drunk on minor roads. The main roads are probably safer than any time of the year
