I’m excited so far this round,,

Tipsters leading the pack..

Joboss  2/3  Round margin  2

Rader    2/3                                3

FJ’s Roos have wiped out my multi.

They smashed the crows.

Could of stopped them with a 243 fitted with a 14 x 50 scope.

How are you going in  Fantasy?

Appalling !!!

I’m like the coach that was lost in a bar for the entire draft.

But..? Chooks has said to never give up,, and I backed the Saints,  I have belief….  It’s a given I am going to make the 8.

I thought the most likely upset this round was the GC beating Geelong, but I didn't have the minerals to pick them.

Serves me right for being conservative.

Your not alone......

Fantasy half time report.

Jo 481 vs Rip 1345, shut the gate the horse has bolted........flappable boy from the west will come back though hasn't got a 1000 points in it to win it....going down for the 6th time....i was so da da dum...."Fast Love".....( i give you this song jo its one of my favs) is no love left in the tank...hot tip to take his 4th JT award...

Fj 1561 and cursing vs Chooks 1040 officer dibbles will stage a second half comeback he to dont have the 98 premium stuff in the tank to overhaul the 56 fired up the cruster in Fj "on the prowl" ....

GAZ 1203 vs BS dee's 1204 in a tight one, reminiscent of petite young things in soi cowboy ever so tight and flimsy....Any lou Reed song here...there all dark life like....Standing on a corner suite in my hand ......whats it got to do with the game you say? Im depressed when i saw what i got left to play...

Grant 1267 vs Optus 1212, match of the round 2 bullets to spare in a tight one Grant will hope for a Swans resurrection to contiune on his merry way BUT optus isn't the undefeated leader "with a little help from his friends"....will stay top of the pops....

I think farmer has used 18 players to my 11.  He has 4 to go and 2 of those are the same as mine so that leaves 2 against 9.

Fantasy Wrap up for round 6

Jo 1578 vs Rips 2010 mr nice guy does it 2 weeks in a row your luck has turned and highest score of the round alas not so for Jo who has dropped the ball....really 5 players out this week? what have you been doing? are you in soi cowboy?

Fj 2004 and cruise the Custer he did on the Prowl.....officer dibbles (of Top Cat fame)1554...ahhhh its a sad affair when you blame your players its your responsibility as coach to get the best out of em...and Chooks saved Jo by the narrowest of margins by taking the JT Award, 2 weeks in a row.

Gaz 1961 vs Me Dee's 2007....well wasn't that a surprise i thought i was done and dusted at half time....Ex North hack Cam Pederson was brought in and scored 97 for me this week and saved my bacon....so sad other nice guy went down in a close fought affair at the G, Loe Reed does have some happy endings in his songs...

Grant 1901 vs Optus 1911....well your not on top for nothing, has the ability to bring others down a peg or two, 10 points  in it in the game of the round, Grant  never easy to man up against...very well done Optus your our hero we will be studding your team closely this week.

The Ladder this week...

2 games clear Optus streaking away from the pack is "Jumping jack flash" the stones..

Grant holds on to number 2, "A day in the life" the beatles.

On the prowl Fj holden slides in at number 3 with a bullet, some big wins lifts his %....watch this man..."Were gonna rock around the clock" Bill haley.

Dee's slip to 4th even with a solid win ever so narrow...."Dear mr fantasy" traffic....

Gaz "slip sliding away" Max Merret you guys are old enough to remember him...Gaz at 5th

6 and "moving on up"...soul 2 soul Rip is moving on up...nice funky tune ...

7th Chooks 1-5 "Free Falling" Tom petty....pretty much sums up the the station sergeants weekend...

8th "I'm on the road to nowhere" Talking heads yep Jo your on a one way road going now were...

Not happy with Waite receiving a week for his tackle.

The rule is flawed,a 100 kg bloke will do damage with a proper tackle.

After watching footy on the weekend it seems the porn star mows are up and about giving the man buns, girl head bands and tatoo's a run for there money.

I guess it will be the last time the big Pavlova will try and inject some humour into the coverage.

Just like the players, he will turn into a robot for fear of offending anyone.

"subtle racism" oh for the life of me.

Fremantle Dockers star Michael Walters defends Pav over Midland 'gaffe'

Dockers' sharp shooter Michael Walters has come out in defence of his former captain Matthew Pavlich after he had a pot shot at Midland during the coverage of the Fremantle and Essendon game.

Social media exploded after Pavlich's gaffe about Midland, while calling the Dockers and Essendon game for Fox Footy, which Channel 7 aired on Sunday afternoon, when Walters "stole" a ball from a pack early in the last quarter.

When fellow football commentator Gerard Healy said "Brad Hill's steal was amazing", Pavlich leapt in and said "Michael Walters it was, but he did grow up in Midland".

Pavlich who retired at the end of last season after 353 games for Fremantle, then can be heard chuckling before adding "I'm not suggesting that..."

The 35-year-old tried to continue before Healy cuts him off.

"Bring it back Pav," Healy pleads.

Walters took to Instagram to throw his support behind Pavlich, but admitted what he said " was not the right thing to say by any means".

"In regards to the comments made by Pav during yesterday's game was not the right thing to say by any means, but there was no intention to hurt anyone in Midland or from Midland by those comments," he wrote.

"The relationship me and Pav have had over the 8 years playing together have been nothing but respect.

"The reason why I'm posting this up is because I know it's going to be blown out of proportion and it would be eating the big fella up."

Despite hundreds of comments on WAtoday's Facebook page defending Pavlich's slip of the tongue as nothing more than a "joke", respected elder Robbert Eddington said the comment wasn't "funny".

"It's not a joke nor is it acceptable because it reinforces stereotypes 90 per cent of people have about Aboriginal people," he said.

"It's subtle racism about young Noongar people in Midland.

"It's subtle racism when it comes from anyone, but when it is a football commentator it is the worst kind of subtle racism."

Len Collard from the School of Indigenous Studies at the University of WA disagreed it was "casual racism".

"I think it's more about someone snubbing their nose down at the suburb," he said.

WAtoday has tried on numerous occasions to contact the AFL and Matthew Pavlich.

The AFL Players' Association, the Fremantle Dockers and Fox Footy have also been contacted for comment.
