A few dubious umpiring decisions on the night didn't matter in the end. High tackle on darling in front was a brave call. Eagles will need to find a couple of replacements for Kennedy and Darling very soon. Saints a good win but you would reckon it's bye bye next week The ex Sydney trio of Dan Hanebery, Zak Jones and Tim Membrey all having top games. Thankfully the doggies couldn't manage to come over the top Brisbane i favour with their home ground home state advantage. Port is a real chance too. Richmond doesn't need much to beat them. Sure he tore us a new one in the first quarter but over the journey I reckon he's probably played 5 good games. BB buy's and sells him as a footballer. Was a belter of a game though. They kicked really well for goal. Thought we were let down by our midfield but hard to point the finger when you lose by a point. I disagree about Ryan mate. Him and Maynard have had some ding dong battles over the years. We complain the players are robots and then have a dig when they do something off script. Both had a good chat after the game, it's all good. I'm sure Simmo agree's with you though. I thought the Bulldogs would've gotten up if Richards kicked that goal as well. What's happened to him? A few years ago he looked like he was going to be a jet. Was a cracking round of finals. Now you point that out it does make sense. Yep Bucks had a good night in the box. I knew it would be a danger game. Apart from Sidebum and Howe, Collingwood were pretty much at full strength and everyone was writing them off. What concerns me going forward is a lack of depth. We had 3 genuine spuds play last night. Ah Chee, Ainsworth and Petrocelle. Petro has just been given a 3 year extension which is mind boggling. Hard to see where our improvement will come from considering we have no high draft picks. I still think we will be around the mark though. Win by a point and you look at it differently I guess. Edit** What a lot of our supporters couldn't fathom is how Lewis Jetta couldn't get a game in front of the above mentioned spuds. There are rumours he had a fall out with the coaching staff in the first hub. I think they will delist him.
