It irritates me substantially that because of these insane rules that I have to tolerate so much cigarette smoke when I try to have a night out in Pattaya. I could live with vaping!

A good case in point. Smoking has been illegal in bars/restaurants for many years, yet continues unabated due to the "tea money" culture. Certainly far more dangerous and unpleasant for non smokers than sitting near someone on the beach enjoying a cigarette in the wide open fresh air.
