Boxer Srisaket Sor Rungvisai says he will need to become fitter than rival Juan Francisco Estrada if he wants to regain his WBC superflyweight belt.

The Thai returned home on Monday after losing his title to the Mexican on points in California on Saturday (Thailand time).

The 32-year-old expressed his regret to Thai fans at not being able to bring the belt back home but promised to reclaim the world title in their third match, likely to be set in the next six months.

“Estrada is really fit and came up with a good game plan,” said Srisaket who will now spend a few weeks on honeymoon with wife Pornpimol. “He moves really fast. If I want to beat him I’ll have to be fitter.”
