As a "clear & simple rule" my understanding is different.  The LANDLORD (not the foreigner) must report our arrival within 24 hours. Furthermore, the foreigner cannot be held responsible for the landlord's failure to do so.  Whether or not we are fined for this deficiency is a different matter, but according to the law the foreigner is not responsible for the TM30.

Am I wrong??

FYI anyone still waiting weeks for a password: just try re-registering all over again.

 

They've got rid of the 'your address is already in the system' message, and it's possible to do a new registration for the same address as before. I received 'email confirmation' and 'password email' within seconds today.
