I think a lot of expats here take for granted their personal financial situations and have little or no comprehension of how many Thais are being squeezed in their finances some through no fault of their own and others through uncontrolled spending often encouraged by social platforms and mainstream media programming.

Good point especially about the social platforms and media "programming."

And she could afford a 30,000B per month apartment with that "job"?

RIP

no, probably not.  Social pressure, lack of income, bills mounting up maybe

RIP, Yardrung.

I quickly found a photo of her leg with the attached message [was googling for a clear picture of her face rather than her lifeless leg].  These vacuous social media careers that don't actually amount to real work, though great when the money's rolling in, but 30k pcm is a huge responsibility for such a transient profession.  I'm sure there's also the party scene and associated distractions involved including the potential for drug reliance or addiction.

Mental health issues could be a factor but not guaranteed as societal pressures involving her perceived status might have caused loss of face when her career was imploding.

Not every suicide is down to a mental health issue as this is patently not true in many cases and far too easy to label as such with mere words.

There is no way to ascertain what you claim as there is no sure way to detect mental illness as it is often not clearly distinguishable from normal distress.
