49 passengers on Bangkok-Phuket bus as it skids off road in Surat Thani

An express bus which was traveling from Bangkok to Phuket has skidded off the road in Surat Thani. 49 passengers escaped injury following the wayward bus careering off the main road into roadside gravel and bushes.

 

Newshawk Phuket reports that, at 7.47am this morning, a bus travelling from Bangkok heading to Phuket skidded off the road in Surat Thani on road No 415.

no mention of what caused it but I would hazet a guess that the driver fell asleep  !!!  yes asleep !!

he should be fired if this was the case ......  49 lucky lives spared.

I hope the driver disciplines his wayward bus.

Looking at the photo, there are NO "Skid Marks" what so ever.  It didn't "skid" off the road, the driver fell asleep and RAN OFF THE ROAD>

Skid marks can't be seen, they are in the passengers underpants!

Careering?  Lucky the top heavy contraption didn't fall over!  Fell asleep, on the phone, distracted???
