Biden's rise in 2020 race catches Trump's eye, unnerves his allies

Just wait for Creepy Joe Biden's women and child videos to start coming out, but what should really nail good Ol' Joe will be his corruption in the Ukraine with his son Hunter.

Have the democrats really nobody better than this creep?   Biden is such an embarrassing person and the whole world knows what he’s about.  Truely a party in disarray.

Those "polls" recently released showing Biden ahead of Bernie neglected to say that only folks 50 or older were included. The DNC is going to try the same thing  that they did with Hillary. They even

Forced to leave your daughter alone in a room for five minutes with biden or obama, who are you gonna pick. Be honest. The guy is creepy. I never said anything about who I would vote for.

Obama isn't running, I don't have a daughter, but I wouldn't worry one bit about either of them if I did.

gropy joe is old news. even the metoo movement gave him a senior citizen pass.

the hurdle he has to pass is the meeting he had with comey, yates, obama jan5 2017

the meeting comey kept hidden from congress.

It will depend on where the big money falls. Everyone at this point is both promotable and disposable.

I can’t see Biden, Burnie or Clinton getting the nod.

I thought Booker for a while, but his bags got too heavy...

Clinton is definitely NOT even running.

Harris/Pete …

I think she'd be more likely to pick Beto. A Harris/Pete ticket would unfortunately get too much backlash as an all identity politics ticket. Black/South Asian/Woman -- Gay albeit white Man. It's sad such calculations come into it, but in this real world they really do.

Hard to take such rhetoric seriously from obvious advocates from the other side.

You mean like Donnie had with vladi. Just this past week it was reported by the Kremlin they had an hour phone call where he assured Donnie that he wasn't involved in Venezuela. For 2 months now I've been hearing from Pompeo and Bolton trashing on Russia for its involvement not to mention Russian bombers stationed there. Do you not think that Donnie, Pence and Barr have never met off record.

I like this klovechar from Minnesota (I'm sure I misspelled her name). Seems level headed more than a little left of center and got Midwestern grit about her

I like her a lot too. She was my top initial pick. Yes she's in the center left lane not so different than Biden. Her public temperament seems perfect for a president to follow the unhinged demagogue in there now, but she did have a scandal about how she treats her staff which certainly didn't help her. She performed well in the recent Barr senate hearing but Harris did even better. She continues to poll poorly. It seems to me her only hope now is doing well in Iowa. She's playing the midwestern card and if that doesn't play in Iowa, then I think she's early toast.

Great example of the kind of alt right toxic backlash a diverse democratic ticket would expect.

Yes Chasten would be the First Gentleman.

Uh huh. Thanks for sharing. I'm sure the democratic party presidential hopefuls care very much what people coming from your POV think.

Best thing that could happen for the Democrats is that the Supreme Court strikes down the entire ACA and 30M Americans overnight lose healthcare.

The GOP after years of talking about it, and even when they controlled all three branches of Government, have never come up with an alternative.

Biden appeals to a lot of those 30M, and that will be an issue

We had an alternative before they started.

Nothing wrong with people funding their own healthcare. The more the government is involved, the more the cost is driven up.

But you are right about the feckless Republicans.

Yup he certainly did bailing out Gm Chrysler a lesser extent ford and on his second term when things improved it was being payed back now Donald on the other hand gave a nice big hand out to corporations and the wealthy at the expense of people like me he is blowing up the deficit during strong economic times btw you sound just like the older generation when I was growing up in the late 60s young man lol

Excuse me but Ford didn't take a penny from the govt back then. That's why so many people love that company. They could have stuck out their hands in need but they handled the situation with no help from the govt thank you very much!

He summed it up nicely. The left is more vehement than the average person these days. It is the default party of the failures that whine about everything and nothing.

“The Left” *is* the average person. Once you take away the scary vilifying labels, most Americans want: universal healthcare, affordable college, livable wages, women’s right to choose, equal rights for all, sensible gun control, NOT minding other peoples’ bizwax when it came to sex, progressive taxation, and an end to corporate subsidies.

It’s like when people were asked if they liked the ACA, they said “yes,” and the same people, when asked if they liked Obamacare, said “no.” That’s because the Right Wing media machine that pretends to be the average Joe’s friend, but is really working with plutocrats to pick his pocket, labeled Obamacare “Socialism” and had already successfully labeled socialism as evil, and in turn labeled everything the plutocrats didn’t like as “socialism.”

The question you should be asking yourself is whether *you* live in the real world, or in the world of the Right Wing media bubble.

Right wing media bubble (ie talk radio and up until a year or two ago Fox) as opposed to the left wing media bubble which includes Hollywood, Facebook, Google, news networks, and virtually all other media, as well as public schools and universities, both public and private sector unions and big business.

It’s labeled “Socialism” because it IS socialism, which is what the left wants.

You seem to be confusing the left with classic liberalism.

Yes it was Trump that stupidly bailed out the USW, sorry.

Labels don’t make a thing what it is; what it is, is what it is. The policies I listed are the things the vast majority of Americans want, once you remove the labels and articulate the actual policies.

And you think government increasing its funding of universities and healthcare will drive the cost down, I don’t. I think it will drive the costs up, and the quality down even faster than it already is.

To be clear, I don’t think most Americans want socialized medicine and “free” higher education.

Of course everyone wants higher wages, lower costs and better quality, but I’m not sure a majority of Americans believe the government taking over big chunks the private sector (as the left wants) is the solution.

I disagree I think the majority would be absolutely delighted
