Man dies after paraglider crashes

A 49-year-old Thai man died when his powered paraglider crashed into a rice field in Buri Ram's Prakham district on Friday.

 

The victim was identified as local resident Prawat Sakdasakulkhunakorn

 

It was suspected that Prawat's powered paraglider had a mechanical problem and was hit by strong winds while he was making a U-turn.

 

The glider crashed into rice field in Bang Suksamran of Tambon Hu Thamnob.

U turns are dangerous, even in the air.
