Wonder what makes a good Monk ? One that does not touch money? one that does not gamble? one that does not drink alcohol ? one that does not smoke ? one that does not have women in their rooms ? one that believes in having no material items ?

If so that completely rules out any Monk in Thailand from being "good"

Not completely true, I know a few who follow the rules, but generally you could be considered correct ????

I am wondering what the scantily clad women were doing at the temple in the first place??

Should they not have been covered before allowed entry??

I would be happy to show him what to do with several scantily clad young women if he does not know what to do.  ????  ????

But first I will need permission from my wife, asking may bring on a case of early death to me

Coyote dancers are now quite common at ordination parties ceremonies along with drugs, booze, souped-up pick-ups and several hundred loudspeakers. All in the name of spirituality.

Really,  I may give Buddhism a closer examination!   ????

Yes do that, but try to avoid Nakhon or Hat Yai, there're some very nasty people in those cities.

The abbot asked the press to leave it at that as going on about this incident further was not in the best interests of the temple or its clergy and religious teachers.
