Wat Chai Mongkron markets, when do they come back?

Featured Replies

I live nearby Wat Chai Mongkron and apart from the permanent market on south pattaya road there are occasionally markets inside the temple and across the road at the lot. Thai people seem to know when they come and go but I can't seem to find any information. They have some great stalls particularly the temple market when it was here, great lightweight shirts from Najar for 90b, decent quality hats for 100b and sunglasses for 40b and I want to buy some more. Far better than the tuesday and friday buakhao market for sure.

Is there like a market schedule or how does one go about finding when the market is in town or where it goes after?

There are probably signs advertising the events but hard to spot among the  rest of the signs.

You could go to Number 8 School ( across the road at the lot ) and ask one of the Teachers

or go to the Temple and ask one of the monks.
