Preacher
Upon divorce the assets are split and that includes all assets, not only those in Thailand. While it is certainly easier to conceal foreign assets, the law is clear. There are several treaties that could be invoked if found out and a judge in any country will not be amused if one conceals assets.

I must say that each country has it own rules and sometimes a judge in another country will not agree with a foreign ruling. That would be the case if the foreign ruling is fundamentally against the law in the country of the property. Think about a case where one of the spouses is left in the cold and gets nothing. The judge where the property is located might decide that this is against their own law and set the foreign ruling aside.
