Nuisance calls TrueMove H

Featured Replies

Hi guys, I hope someone can advise because this is really ******** annoying me now.

I am on True Move H. I get about 3-4 unsolicited calls a day, the number appears, but I do not know who it is. If I answer, it is an automated female voice speaking Thai, but the thing is, I only just realised that when I answer, it costs me money!

Is there anyway to stop these frustrating calls? If I stop answering my phone I am worried I may miss an important call as many people have my number, family, friends, my bank etc

I put 20 baht on my phone 2 days ago just to make one important call as I had less than 1 baht credit. Within 10 minutes of getting home, I had one of these nuisance calls, and my 20 baht was gone so I couldn't even make the one phone call!

Personally, I do not answer calls from numbers not already in my Contacts, but that may not work for everyone. I let them go to VM, and no Thai (who doesn't know me) leaves a VM once they hear my greeting (number, first name, in English).

Can you identify the numbers which are calling you?

You shouldn't be charged for incoming calls, here in Thailand we only pay for outgoing/originating calls.

Robo/marketing calls are quite common here - I imagine you've handed out your number to many, many, many people/places/businesses - I get a ton right before my annual car insurance is up, for example.

I suspect your balance is being depleted for reasons unrelated to these calls: mobile data leakage for example.

Go to your nearest True office and speak with them......
