3BB seems to redirect all http requests to a special notice page. Makes the interent unusable.

Hi. Yes I had that all this week already but should not stop you using internet ! It's supposed to display only once a day. When you get it, try to type google.com or any website address and it should work. It works for me

I see the same here with 3BB. No website, not a single one, loads anymore when using http. It just loads forever.

The same websites load fine using https. I also checked with some friends having TOT and True, they have no problems loading the same websites in http.

There is no error message, and I never got such a message page (like the one the OP shows).

Nothing against https, it makes sense to use it, but to block everything not using https, without any error message, that is just stupid and wrong.

Very annoying, it also breaks the TV streaming software I enjoy so much (Teatime TV), which seems to use http playlists.

Btw this has nothing to do with loading google.com, it simply depends on using http:// or https:// in the browser address bar.

@mtls2005, that long old thread is about different issues with 3BB. As annoying as they are, they are not the same.

What I see today is not an ad loading, or attempting to load, but simply nothing loads, nothing at all, also nothing in the title bar,  when using http with 3BB.

So no ad, no error, only all http blocked, and only https working.

The URL in the OP

http://110.164.252.137/wpwarn/monomax/wpcbt_res.php

is the same one used to remind customers one month late paying their bill, soft warning.

Assuming that everyone is paid up then it's some sort of cock-up at 3BB. Not seeing anything on Thai social media about this; my 3BB connection working fine.

Obviously, ring them, I find them to be very professional and responsive.

When I experienced something similar (notice of free upgrade) a few months ago, I was advised to turn off my modem for 10 minutes, but I actually didn't have to do this.

Thanks mtls2005, yes, this might be the case, and I might have been fooled by the adblocker not showing the ad, completely blocking it from loading, and by doing so also blocking its address from appearing in the address bar. I'll verify when back home.

If so it means to disable the adblocker whenever http seems not to work, hope that a page is shown where "OK" can be clicked somewhere, click that "OK", and then reenable the adblocker.
