Has anyone had any experience (good or otherwise!) of successfully filing a TM30 report by post or online

Posted

My wife applied and was successfully registered but never got an email with user name and password. I emailed immigration and they return emailed "Confirm Registration." Read the manual and still do not know how to 'Confirm Registration." Anyone with experience the help is appreciated.

I'm bumping this in hope for more replies. There are many posts in threads saying that the registration is difficult. On the backdrop of CW wanting TM30 it would be lovely if online reporting was simple process. Sadly Thailand is bit f..ed up when it comes to simple "stuff". My fall back position is to do my last tm30 by mail prior to my next extension CW

Has anyone found an English version of the manual?

I haven't.

Did find this video, in Thai, which may help?

Update: Almost immediately after posting the above my wife got an email with user name and password. Strange to say the least, but maybe they read TV. 55555

Have you subsequently logged in, created a new password, believe that might be how you confirm registration, and filed a TM30?

What is your Immigration office?

Can you share the email address you used?

Thanks.

Yesterday I applied with help from Thai wife. I attached copy of passport and copy of yellow book.

Shortly after applying, got an email from [email protected] to confirm my email address.

Today received email from same sender giving me username and password. Logged in with help from wife again and changed password. Logged in with new password, and again with help translating, chose the option of doing a TM30 report. SO, I guess after I go out again, I'll try to report MYSELF at my address when I return!?

Thanks for report. Inspires me to give it a go. Mind you doesn't sound the registration is a simple process. I travel so much in and out going to CW would be a serious issue. I'm going to do one by post as possessor on last entry to los before next extension.

That's the same email account used to provide the status of an online 90-day report.

PIBICS stands for Personal Identification Blacklist Immigration Control System.

Thanks for the report, amazing some folks get approved in hours, others days, some have apparently passed away waiting for approval.

My personal experience. Nonthaburi resident with yellow book living in our (wife as owner) house.

Visited my home country USA for a month. While in the USA I registered on line hoping to avoid having to visit immigration upon our return.

Saturday, Apr 20TH. Completed the on line registration. Provided pdf file copies of wife’s Thai ID card, blue book house registration and land sale contract. Got through confirming email and got to the message “registration requires Immigration officer’s approval within 7 days (working hour).”

Saturday Apr 27TH returned to Thailand.

Monday, Apr 29THwent to my local immigration office (Nonthaburi) and filed my TM30 in person. IO said you can file TM30 on-line, replied waiting for user name and password.

Monday, May 13THreceived user name and password, logged on and changed password.

Well, we are registered, have a user name and a password. Next trip outside province I’ll try TM30 on-line filing.

Been doing my 90 Day reports on-line for years, hope and expect the TM30 on-line reports will be as convenient.

Hints: as per their instructions; you need to use either IE or Chrome as your browser and the supporting document files you send cannot exceed 1MB per document you send.

Good luck to all.
