Video: Burmese daredevil rider slapped with five charges by Chiang Mai police

Daily News reported that the Chiang Mai police had arrested a Burmese man caught doing daredevil stunts in the downtown area of the city.

 

Ongmeuang or "Mai", 21, who has been living in San Sai found himself a Facebook celebrity after doing a no hands stunt on his Honda Click. 

 

The media said he worked in a massage parlor.

Pol Maj Jitdanai Ratanaphaibooncharoen of the Chiang Mai constabulary and his team caught up with him yesterday.

 

He was pictured doing a reenactment of the stunt at the police station.

 

The result was five charges:

 

1. Negligent and dangerous driving

2. Driving without due care and attention for other road users

3. Not having the proper equipment on his motorcycle

4. Having no tax

5. Not wearing a helmet.

They will do but not in Pattaya.

I pay 400 bath for not wearing safety Belt

Eh .! What plod had him doing him doing standups in the carpark .. That sound a bit cupid ..

Why do you do those things, do you think that the law does not apply to you?

Not necessarely, I met a guy on the Mae On - Chiang Mai road with a big bike doing this at 80-90 km/h (no traffic though) . Probably a farang considering he wore a full-face helmet, gloves, proper boots and leathers. Perhaps a tvf member?

There are such a lot of back roads, where one can practice "motorcycle arts". It definitely does not have to be down town or in heavy traffic. If you want to show off, wait for your next local motorcycle event. Some folks never learn.

Bath Baht Bat is a proper name you can write it as you want only in it is thai languge you must write it right.

It's a common sight in CM of 2 even 3 Thai-Yai boys on a bike blasting full speed down the road,barely in control.....an accident waiting to happen.

Joy killers all of you!!!! You all were obviously born 80 years old! I thought he was a cool kid doing a cool stunt!

His problem is that he's Burmese, is all.
