Trump calls London mayor "stone cold loser" as he lands in the UK

STANSTED, England (Reuters) - U.S. President Donald Trump renewed his verbal attacks on London Mayor Sadiq Khan on Monday, calling him a "stone-cold loser" after the mayor criticized the British government's decision to offer a state visit to Trump.

 

"@SadiqKhan, who by all accounts has done a terrible job as Mayor of London, has been foolishly 'nasty' to the visiting President of the United States, by far the most important ally of the United Kingdom," Trump said on Twitter shortly before Air Force One landed at Stansted Airport near London.

 

"He is a stone cold loser who should focus on crime in London, not me."

I am 100% with Sadiq Khan on this , I just cant imagine why they would give a state visit to Trump when pretty much all he does is give them s##t on twitter and from that tiny little lying mouth of his .

Good for Trump.  Calling it like the rest of the world sees it.  . Unless your a socialist liberal. Than free food and free everything for all immigrants.  

I agree with Trump. Khan, IMO is a loser that has made a shambles of London while jetting off doing something not involved with running London.

Eg, on a recent visit to London, there was not a single public toilet that I could find in the most heavily touristed area of the city. Tourists were having to pay several pounds to use toilets in Starbucks or McDonalds etc. I used to live in London and there were several available in the same area then.

Well, Trump (once again)shows his complete lack of understanding of diplomacy, decorum or common good manners.

 

Nice one Trump, London has really gone down the pan since he took over, voted in by his fellow Muslim's and the now majority immigrants who live there.

This beauty knows no bounds with his tongue (and fingers). What a shame, America!!!

When I lived there, there were more immigrants living in London than English. In the hospitals that I worked in, English staff were almost non existent.

Trump is not a muslim, so no hugs and kisses from Khan

Narcissistic Trump is  such a worldly “statesman”. ( sarcasm btw) People who do admire Trump have similar traits: a racist,  uneducated, and cannot accept change.

Are you suggesting Sadiq Khan has had the public toilets removed deliberately ? If so you would be a good partner for Trump with his psychotic behaviour. ????

Of course the toilets were removed deliberately, presumably because they don't want to pay to look after them.

As to whomever ordered it, the buck stops with him. He's in charge, ergo it's his responsibility.

I can't stand Khan and what he has done to the city I grew up in, if it wasn't for the historic places in London you would not recognise it for the same place it was 50 years ago.

This mayor is a stone cold loser.... showing no respect to a visiting u.s. pres from the beginning.  This arrogant pos mayor deserves to be out on his ass.  Many of the posters here must agree as they have long left London.

If one takes note of the comments from the UK residents Trump’s remarks seem to be in line with most of them.

The position of Lord Mayor of London was extremely important and prestigious but today seems to have descended to a political prize to be used to push questionable agendas.

I would love to know which part of London you are talking about, and which hospital, and which time frame.

Some time ago, Trump increased the tariff by 5% on Mexico. Mexico’s response to Trump is not friendly. Now Trump is constantly exerting pressure on neighboring countries and creating contradictions, which will surely make the American people lose confidence in Trump.

The sooner the slimy little toad Khan is gone the better.
