I am 100% with Sadiq Khan on this , I just cant imagine why they would give a state visit to Trump when pretty much all he does is give them s##t on twitter and from that tiny little lying mouth of hi

Well, Trump (once again)shows his complete lack of understanding of diplomacy, decorum or common good manners.

"President Donald Trump insisted on Sunday that he never called Meghan, the Duchess of Sussex and the wife of Britain's Prince Harry, "nasty", despite an audio recording of an interview showing he did.

Key points:

Mr Trump said the comment was 'fake news' and demanded an apology from media outlets

The audio recording published by The Sun reveals Mr Trump said "she was nasty"

The comments come ahead of Mr Trump's state visit to the UK this week

The president was discussing Meghan in a recent interview with Britain's The Sun newspaper in the run-up to his state visit to the UK on Monday.

"I never called Meghan Markle 'nasty.' Made up by the Fake News Media, and they got caught cold!" Mr Trump tweeted.

Mr Trump, in fact, did use the word "nasty" to describe Meghan when asked about her comments about him during the 2016 campaign."

https://www.abc.net.au/news/2019-06-03/trump-denies-calling-meghan-markle-nasty-in-recording/11172220

So much for fake news, and which liar got "caught cold". There is the possibility that he believes his own lies, caused by Alzheimer's disease short term memory loss.

he most certainly DID NOT call her nasty! He said and I quote: "I did not know she was nasty". So he didnt call her nasty even though she is a nasty low life dirt bag!

Back to reality -- he called her nasty.

You can say that a person is being nasty , without meaning that they are a nasty person .

Now suddenly somebody gets bitter about socialism and free money being handed out. Free everything for illegal aliens who come illegally but god forbid the very POTUS benefits from anything. lol

I agree with Trump. Khan, IMO is a loser that has made a shambles of London while jetting off doing something not involved with running London.

Eg, on a recent visit to London, there was not a single public toilet that I could find in the most heavily touristed area of the city. Tourists were having to pay several pounds to use toilets in Starbucks or McDonalds etc. I used to live in London and there were several available in the same area then.

You can't have looked very hard! There are public tourists in or near all major tourist attractions and many other places in London; Toilets in London. Granted, not all are free.

Also, I have no idea where you got the idea that "tourists were having to pay several pounds to use toilets in Starbucks or McDonalds etc.." I travel to all parts of London, from the outer boroughs to the City, regularly for work and my experience is that if you can't find a public toilet, McDonalds, Starbucks, etc., even most betting shops will let you use theirs free of charge; all you have to do is ask!

Yes, many public toilets in London have closed, but these closures were the decision of the Boroughs, not the Mayor and the largest number of closures occurred when a certain B. Johnson was in charge at City Hall!

So is your blaming Khan for the closures based on ignorance, or something more sinister?

farage isnt a tory, and for good measure BJ isnt a proper brexiteer he's was in it for personal gain, they stood together for the camera's next to the big red bus waving unionjacks but in reality wouldnt see eye to eye trying to deliver a brexit resolution.

Trump said "No, I didn't know that she was nasty."

He didn't say that she had done something nasty nor said something nasty, but that she was nasty.

So he wasn't calling certain deeds by her nasty, he was calling her a nasty person.

Further remedial English lessons available to you on request.

Mind you, it is obvious that in what passes for Trumps mind that anyone who does not praise him unconditionally is a nasty person; especially if, like the Duchess did before her marriage meant she could no longer comment on politics, they have dared to criticise him!

Nice one Trump, London has really gone down the pan since he took over, voted in by his fellow Muslim's and the now majority immigrants who live there.

All you have proven is that you know absolutely nothing of London nor the people who live there.

No wonder you support Trump; facts are in short supply in his mind, too!

I do disagree , everyone can say nasty things and everyone does , that doesn't necessarily mean that they are nasty people .

There is a difference to saying that her comments were nasty comments and saying that she is a nasty person .

Trump was saying that her comments were nasty , rather than saying that she is a nasty person

You are mistaken , the reporter asked Trump to comment on Markle comments about what she said about him .

"During the interview, Trump was confronted by the comments made by Markle ahead of the 2016 US presidential election where she said on "The Nightly Show with Larry Wilmore" that Trump was misogynistic and that his politics was divisive. The then actress added that she would move to Canada if he won the presidency."

Trump responded: "I didn't know that she was nasty. I hope she is OK..."

I assume that you are not calling me a nasty person, based on your pathetic attempts to excuse Trump and claim that his saying the Duchess was nasty did not mean he was calling her nasty!!

Trump reminds me a bit of Duterte. Both men have such delicate egos, and cannot handle any perceived slights to themselves. Both men suffer from severe lack of self esteem, masked by oversized self aggrandizement. Trump just cannot help himself. Love me or get trashed by me! How boring.
