For those of you caught up in the "nasty" comment I would suggest that we see, and hear, what we want to see and hear.

He did not call her a nasty person and, in fact, went on to be quite supportive of her, but maybe that part of the interview was cropped in the version you saw.

I may agree with SK but after his comments comparing Trump to a fascist dictator amongst other things, he would have to have expected push back. 

While I may think DT is unworthy of a State visit I do think he is more worthy than Chinese President Xi Jinping who got the full treatment including the carriage ride. Did Sadiq Kahn make the same type of comments about Xi Jinping? After all, he has a million plus Muslims in re-education camps and China's human rights record is right at the very bottom on the world list. Never mind China's pollution/ co2 emissions production and trade practices.

But still not very diplomatic, something that Trump is being accused of, and rightfully so. However, it’s hypocritical to apply that standard in only one way. It also matters not that Kahn was addressing his own government. Imagine if Trump “criticized” Congress for inviting a dignitary (i.e.a legislator, mayor of a major city, head of state) to visit that institution.

Not to be taken too seriously but this radio interview is entirely in keeping with the thread(s) ????
