Maybe verbal voting isn't so bad, at least the people can see if the ones they voted for actually vote on the commitments they made to the people, but then probably the majority of Thais don't really care.

None of these people started at village level, elected by the villagers (yes, little known fact, the ordinary Chinese do get to vote), onto township level if their peers think they're fit and proper, onto town, city, provincial government and finally Zhongnanhai if they exceed the standards at every step.. Takes around 25 years.

all of the voting it's done by COMMUNIST party members, if one is not part (doesn't have the card) of the party can't vote, ordinary Chinese have absolutely NO RIGHT to vote on anything, misleading post

The 4 major parties of the coalition have between them ~17 million votes out of a total of 35 million. PPRP alone scored around 25% of votes cast.

No surprise here. Considering the  Rooster hand picked his senate with family friends and allies.

Rigged, stacked .. it's all the same predictable outcome.

The democratic election is misleading. There're lots of flaws with democracy everywhere in the world.

 

They really should revamp the system.  It's full of money politics, biased constituency delineation etc.

 

The outcome is almost 99% certain.

Literally all the farangs and most of the Thais I know don't like the junta, and this has been true since the first time I came to Thailand back in 2010. Even the ones who aren't actively against it are more ambivalent than supporting. It's pretty much only on Thai Visa and in the media that I ever see people supporting it with this kind of passion.

Voting started and telecast live if you want to watch #thaiPBS. Prayut way ahead with Thanathorn by half. What a ruse.
