I need a hotel for 3-4 nights now (15.03) in Bangkok center , for about $30 per day. What is preferred method to get room, booking by Internet or direct search at the place? Do I have chance not to find any hotel if I won't book in advance? If I will rent the hotel without booking in advance, what is prefferred payment method : bats, US$, or credit card. Is there any danger of credit card number stealing when paying for the room?

booking through internet is the best option in Bangkok. walk-in rate is always more expensive. some internet-booking-companies can book for u even 1 hour before check-in at hotel through their live-chat support (for example, passionasia.com).

the payment is safe, all those internet-booking-companies use encrypted system.

though, nobody will be happy if you bring BATS to a hotel, no matter if they are dead or alive

but BAHT will always be more than welcome.....

Having only internet booked 1 night and wanting to extend my stay for a further night they offered the walk in rate only, with no chance of a discount.
