I hope their caught and punished I hope they're caught too. About thirty years ago my uncle got off the train in Copenhagen and was immediately knocked to the ground by some Eastern European thugs and robbed. Also, in that long hot Summer of 2006 while visiting Copenhagen I felt a hand go into my back pocket so I immediately turned around and snapped a wrist lock on an African of unknown nationality. He started screaming bloody murder so fearing the Danes would do their utmost to be politically correct and throw me in jail as a white racist I let the guy go. Same thing happened in San Francisco, plus I was robbed there twice at gunpoint-----though I shot the last guy. 1

Some handbags comes with open top with just a magnetic clip lock . Some ladies love them as they present no obstacle for a quick grab of mobile, power bank, selfie stick ,water bottle,... .unfortunately it is also an easy target for pickpockets. My missus love these bags too. I must remind myself to educate her with this video.

They probably have still been led to believe that London is still the same safe destination full of tourist attractions that it used to be renowned for. But that was before the flood gates were opened. I've read a tourist leaflet supplied to those who wish to visit London. In it there is no mention of London having become a sanctuary for any enterprising criminals who may make their way there from anywhere in the world. Nor do they mention that it is now the murder and knife crime capital of Europe. They should do.

Caine
Well the culprits are certainly not British, unfortunately this is the slime we are importing from Eastern Europe. Sooner we get out of the European Union and stop this benefit scrounging shit coming to Britain the better. 1

whaleboneman
The pickpockets were pretty slick but I'm kind of amazed that they targeted the Thai ladies when they were filming themselves with the selfie stick and phone. Maybe they knew how much cash the lady had in her bag and took the chance.

There was a story about a 3 member group from the Philippines arrested last November. Victims were usually targeted around the BTS areas and then skimmed once they were on the trains..... It was not so long ago that Londoners could go out for a Sunday drive in the Kent or Surrey countryside and buy fresh vegetables and fruit from a stall outside a farm house. There was no one in attendance but prices were on display and the vendor/farmer trusted you to leave the money for your purchases in a cardboard box. That's how life should be.

Try walking around at 3 am in many parts of London especially when you've imbibed. I'm elderly and I literally won't even go out after dark where I live in South London and that is no exaggeration.
