Probably froze to death as Pattaya Theatres are ice boxes...far too cold for comfort prevent many from attending

Yeah, just throw his body in the back of the pick-up guys. No respect needed.

That's what I meant when I implied that going via EMS might be better!

I wonder what the film was?

His own divorce hearing on video?

Or

The amount of money his thai ex wife is seeking/taking

Hmmm..... possibly died of boredom?

it's sad enough to go to movies alone

Bet the Thai beside him wont be going to a movie in a hurry

He died peacefully and without pain, may we all die the same way

RIP

perhaps many thais will avoid that theatre fearing a ghost.  a unit in my condo where a local was found dead could not be rented

for some perhaps but i like to go alone. no one to entertain, can schedule ad lib, freedom.  reason for going should be the movie content not vice a versa

why?

love watching a film alone....you can focus without any distraction.

I admit it's fun going with a bargirl but then we aren't really there for the film.

He passed away peacefully in pattaya not a bad way to go

RIP cinema goer Nice way to go enjoying a good movie alone and no one chittering away in your ear just nod of eternally

They can now make a horror movie... about this horror movie being watched... like the ring.

Eardrums punctured by the sound system. Then froze to death.

Well the sound can get quite loud..yes...but I was  in that very same "Cinema 4"

recently  and the  temperature wasn't cold

I also saw the trailer for the movie "Annabelle Comes Home"   and thought no way I'm going to watch that..probably have a heart attack !!!

Annabella comes home..... sounds a bit like like a porn movie, he wasn't wearing a raincoat was he?

Could have been waiting too long for life saving surgery from the NHS.

edit: Just noticed vehicle in the photo. They're not using EMS to send corpses to the morgue are they?

Yes, EMS, Expired Moviegoer Service.

R I P Mr. Channing. Condolences to his family.

That theatre will probably lose business now.  Lots of Thai's will be afraid to go there.

Rest In Peace.

must have been one hell of a movie

When it is your time to go, time’s up. Seems like a relatively peaceful way to go. Fairly dignified too, compared to some of the other passings we hear about on here. Hope he did not suffer.

I saw Anabelle at Emporium last Saturday...not at all frightening and was actually boring! What was a 78 year old doing watching a late night horrow show. That cinema is definitely going to be haunted!

Yes, the monks will be there for a week.

A good way to go, too many people have long protracted deaths and if the people next to him didnt realise til the film had finished ,the man died peacefully.

RIP and thoughts with his loved ones.
