I have a non-O visa with multi re-entry.

my daughter has a tourist visa because she’s not yet enrolled to a school. Her visa cannot be extended anymore.

She needs to stay only 14 days more after her visa expires, before we leave Thailand. She’s 11 years old, Israeli.

Where is the closest place to Chiang Mai for a visa run? Mae Sai? Mae Sot?

Is that possible during weekend? That’s the only available time.

Can I cross with her while preserving my visa, or is a re-entry only valid when you fly out? Reason I ask is because I don’t want her to cross alone and don’t want to loose my visa.

In case we won’t be able to do a visa run, what will happen when we leave, after a 14 days over stay? Will it prevent her from getting an ED visa later on from an embassy?

I would not bother if I were you.

She will not be fined for overstay and it will give no problems for further applications.

If you are really set on doing it you can get a Re Entry Permit for yourself.

If you have a multiple entry non-o visa issued by a embassy or consulate you can leave and re-enter the by air or land and you will get a new 90 day entry.

As said your daughter will not be fined for an overstay since she is under the age of 15. No need to make a border run for her to get a new entry.

Mae Sai is nearest crossing to Chiang Mai.
