PHUKET:-- MaAnn Samran, Chief of the Cherng Talay Tambon Administration Organisation (OrBorTor) told The Phuket News today (July 4) that is now scrambling to provide trained lifeguards at Surin and Bang Tao beaches.

The news follows a 52-year-old British national from Hong Kong drowning at Surin Beach yesterday after being caught in a rip that draged him away from shore.

The man’s son, 25 years old, was rescued and rushed to hospital.

They just don't really want to foot the bill properly as the funds allocated for this have ... gone, if they were ever there in the first place. They are probably happier to let the idiots drown instead unless they are forced through social media to do something ... which is sad really.
