webfact Posted July 10, 2019 Share Posted July 10, 2019 Police to seek new arrest warrants in fatal brawl on Udomsuk road By The Nation Photo credit: Thairath Police will seek arrest warrants against seven more taxi motorcyclists for having taken part in a brawl between members of two taxi stands on Soi Udomsuk last month, which resulted in two deaths. Pol Col Nakhon Thongphanit, commander of the Bang Na police station, said the seven new arrest warrants would raise the number of arrest warrants to 64. So far, police have arrested 47 suspects in the case and seized three vehicles used in for transporting arms and other motorcyclists to join the brawl. On June 15, taxi motorcyclists from two stands headed by Thanong Kerdkaew and Pramook Wichiandilokkul engaged in a brawl during which they also fired at each other. Nakhon said the seven new suspects are made up of five motorcyclists from Pramook’s stand and two from Thanong’s.
