Where On Earth? Sports Ground

Featured Replies

Ok sorry if this is getting boring but I love the other two games but I think so far i have only managed to guess about three of the locations... ever! Doh, not the best at geography!! So I was hoping you all might indulge me in something I might find a little easier. Sports grounds. Same rules apply an image from Google Earth is taken (of a sports venue obviously) and the rest have to guess its name. Clues may be given if no answer is forthcoming. Any sports venue can be used past, present or future (i.e. being built)

Hope this works!!!

I'll start with an easy one...

Is it the Telstra Dome, Docklands, Melbourne ?? Fcuked if i know , never seen it..been away too long. :o

It's not the Telstra Dome and it's not in Australia. You will know it when you hear it!

(I played a lot of my footy on Subi oval Austhaied. Lost a couple of grand finals there from memory)

US of A ??

Yes, USA

Clue:

When a deadly lady came to town, some died, but thousands were saved at this stadium.

Superdome - New Orleans, where some 26-30.000 people/refugees went during 'Katrina' in end August 2005.

ps: go ahead guys.

LaoPo

Well,

as no-one posted a stadium, I'll give it a blast. Where's this footballing Mecca located?

Guess20wherecopy.jpg

where is this stadium?

well Tingnongnoi,

not a scooby... only just figured out that it's a covered stadium... (first reaction was the Kennington Oval by looking at the road system). However, Ozzie Rules/Cricket seems the dominating body at the mo', so I'll take a stab and say a Cricket ground in Perth/Adelaide/Melbourne/Sydney or Brisbane.

Close?

not close at all mate im afraid, it would be far to small for a cricket ground. Give you a clue it is a lot nearer Saraburi than Perth, Adelaide or Melbourne Sydney and Brisbane

hhhmmm, so I take it that it's in Thailand from your hint? Or maybe Singapore, HK, Jakarta...

Darn it, I'm stuck! Ice rink? Exhibition hall?

A Wild guess and I'll say the 'Rama Gardens Hotel' in Bangkok...

The Ratchadamoen Boxing Stadium, Bangkok.
