does Truevision delay CNN and BBC with 5 minutes

Since several months I noticed that BBC and CNN programs are delayed exactly 5 minutes (I do not look at other news channels)

This is inconvenient when planning recording : for programs of one hour I get extra 5 minutes of the previous program and I miss the last 5 minutes of the recorded program.

(The clock on my Truevision tuner indicates the same time as the clock on my PC)

Have other Truevision users the same experience?

Haven't used True for years, but it used to be that way for censorship purposes.

Yes. The delay seemed to have been introduced at around the time of the Coronation. I guess it gave the company time to blank out any reporting of the ceremony by these outside news channels. Seems a permanent fixture, BBC is always 5 minutes behind now.
