scott1999
Hi all, I've been on a work permit and visa for about 8 years now. But I want to retire soon. I have my own condo in my name in Bangkok and I have a 30 year lease on a villa in Hua-Hin. Question: If I use my condo in Bangkok as my retirement address is there a time period that I must adhere to? Such as 5 nights in the condo and 2 in the villa? Hope someone can help? Thanks in advance
worgeordie
No, and you are going to get a lot of people telling you it's NOT a retirement VISA, even though they know what you mean. regards Worgeordie

However, you may want to check if Hua Hin immigration want you to report your stay every time you return to the villa. Bangkok won’t.
steve187
i would use the easier to use office of the 2, and then don't mention the other address to anyone, no one will know you are there.
arithai12
Nothing changes concerning reporting address from being on a work-based to a retirement-based extension.
