Stuff to bring from UK for a 3 month stay that is worth the hassle and cheaper

Featured Replies

Me and my better half have a 3 month stay in our condo every winter and try to bring stuff from the UK that is worth the hassle and the difference in the cost factor. My list now includes.

Razor blades Mach 3

Gillette Foam

Furniture polish

Dental Floss and picks

Colgate Total Toothpaste

Nespresso Machine

Nespresso compatible capsules x 200

Oral B Brushes

Magimix juicer

Marmite - decanted into plastic

Peanut butter

Cheap pound shop reading glasses

Paramol / paracetamol/codeine - the woman of the family love this for their period pains and yes I know it is technically a prohibited item as is day nurse.

Day/Night Nurse

Any other suggestions ?

Thanks not my bag but if it's your remedy then add it to the list.

Oh for denture wearers steradent or super drug equivalent. Liquid plaster is amazing if you have a wound - just paint it on stops bleeding and is waterproof. TCP/Boots antiseptic liquid.

Any kind of chocolate for the family - they love it and it's far more expensive in Thailand.

Roll on deodorants.

Nescafe instant.

2kg of cheddar

Tea bags

Bring some common sense, it's hard to find here!

Big cans of spray on deodorant, your favorite tea bags and biscuits.

It would be much quicker to make a list of things that are not worth bringing because they are cheaper and better here. It would be a very short list.
