:o:D I am not sure that it is anything to celebrate, I don't like zoo's and this one stands out as one of the worst I have ever visitted. Poor animals :D

yeah i agree - and i would really like to know where that orangutan came from.... mother shot out of a tree and then sold to the zoo as a baby perhaps? of course i am totally making that up - but it happens WAY too often in these parts of the world.... Wildlife Friends of Thailand for some great educational resources and info about the illegal wildlife trade in Thailand.
