The Dusit Zoo Turns 69 On Sunday

A baby orang-utan shows his bicycle-riding skills at the Dusit Zoo during a press conference yesterday.

The Bangkok zoo turns 69 on Sunday and special activities will be held to mark the occasion tomorrow and on Sunday.

I am not sure that it is anything to celebrate, I don't like zoo's and this one stands out as one of the worst I have ever visitted. Poor animals

yeah i agree - and i would really like to know where that orangutan came from.... mother shot out of a tree and then sold to the zoo as a baby perhaps? of course i am totally making that up - but it happens WAY too often in these parts of the world....
