Popular Post bkk6060
I actually believe it is pretty close to the numbers. Which verifies my belief that the all important expat/falang (in their minds) is not the big driver of the economy here as they think. In fact, if they all left it would make a small small economic dent. Sorry to say expats, are basically meaningless this place will survive just fine without them. Have to agree - BTW the original link now works (Thanks NCC1701A) - the report is quite comprehensive and VERY heavy reading. But you can verify the figures if you want to. 2

jabis
At 73000 old farts going with the 800k option, that would be guaranteed ฿58.4Bn at Thai banks' balance sheets rolling on and off while the minimum yearly (required) balance would be ฿29.2Bn, plenty of cushion to leverage for new household and car debts for locals 1

You are in box 1 because she is Thai, 2 because it´s a resident family, 3 because she is your spouse and 4 because you are retired ???? I guess it depends on your kind of visa.
