Is it possible to take my electric skateboard into the country?

(I have a e-skateboard with a battery capacity of 79.2wh and will be entering the country through Chiang Mai International Airport.)

You may have carry it on board or detach the battery and carry it on as hand luggage in line with airline fire safety regulations.

As to what Thai law makes of you riding it on the roads, who knows, although these guys seem to have got away with it:

What Sized Power Banks Are Restricted?

The restrictions as per the Federal Aviation Administration are for lithium-ion batteries rated above “100 watt hours (Wh) per battery”. Anything above that limit is restricted. While that limit allows most power banks to be brought on flights, there are still consumer power banks that exceed that limit. Thankfully with prior approval from an airline, power banks rated 100.1-160 watt hours can be taken onboard.
