Life is hard.

I don't mean to be harsh and believe me I know how hard it can seem.  The truth however is only you can make the changes required, the first step is to understand that.  Then understand that whilst 5 years or even 1 year might seem like an eternity when you look at it from the start, by the end of that year or 5 years you'll look back and wonder where it went.

I won't say I wish you luck, as I don't believe in luck, but I do hope you have the determination to make the changes you need to make.

Sorry you feel that way mate. Try to pick up a hobby or work out and exercise. It sounds cliche but it has always worked for me in the past when going through a rough patch of life.

Good advice elcaro.

I've been down at times and always turned back to intense exercise.

It exorcizes (????) (or exhausts) the demons for at least a while.  Builds self confidence and clears the mind, increases blood to brain, increases appetite, better sleep, etc.

Close to a panacea as you can get without drugs.

When younge and depressed living in Houston Texas I would put on hiking boots and go running. Let me tell you, that's tires one quickly!
