U.S. Topic -- Clarification sought about starting Medicare Part B upon repatriation
Not sure that's correct about Part A enrollment being automatic. I just finished doing my initial online enrollment via the SS website for Medicare Parts A & B. Medicare card supposedly in process of being mailed to my U.S. address. When I first went online to the SS website logged in with my personal account, it had a link there giving me the option to register for Medicare... And when I followed it, it gave me the process to enroll for Parts A and B. But if I had done nothing and just sat around waiting after I turned 65, I don't think I ever would have been registered in the Medicare system nor would they have sent me my Medicare card. Because of past U.S. employment, I was ELIGIBLE for free Part A Medicare once I turned 65. But actually enrolling/registering for it is a separate, required process, AFAIK. b -

Sounds like a pretty normal party to me. Almost all the parties I went to from about 1995 to 2005 had people doing drugs and having sex. We were all in our late teens to mid 30's. When you have politicians not responding to the voice of the people and the people feel threatened by illegal migrants that no one have any control over, they get desperate and join the only ones that seems to react against the government, the Right Wing Groups! Daikin - the worst garbage aircon
I disagree. Lived here 24 years. Only had two units in that time - both Daikin. I only upgraded to the latest one (inverter type) when electricity went up to almost 10 baht per unit. Very economical, ultra quiet and cools the bedroom very quickly. I never have the a/c on all night - too cold. (Set to 29 C) Never leaks and no trouble at all. I'm a happy little bunny with my unit. Is the leakage problem lack of maintenance? When I lived in Singapore - all condo units had a maintenance contract for the a/c. Cleaned and checked every 3 months. It was compulsory and in the lease. -

How often do you get your ACs cleaned?
No! If you cover the entire screen, you place extra load on the compressor as the Filtrette becomes more heavily contaminated and you run the risk of icing. At a minimum, it increases your electricity consumption costs.
