Fridge's recommendation for student

Featured Replies

I'm an international students and just moved  to Thailand for a few days, I want to buy a fridge just for only me to use. Should I buy a single door one or two doors ?

You want to buy a fridge for a few days ?? Seriously ?

Skip the 4 door and go for the 8 door. You won't regret it. Everybody needs a big fridge. You could phone the distributors of Coca-Cola and see if they'll give you a loaner.

If it's just a few days why not just buy a bucket and fill with ice?

So, what part of Thailand are you in right now ?

how long are you staying ?

What accommodation do you have ?

I live in Rangsit, I'm staying in a student condo right now, I'll go back to my country in May 2022

Suspect you mean you arrived a few days ago.  If you want frozen items/ice cream best to have two door but will cost more to buy and use and if only for you suspect small single door is all you need as a student.

And this condo does not already come furnished, with a fridge etc ? Have you checked that you can add one ?

Which country did you fly in from ?

depends on where you are staying and for how long, a bar fridge  is fine for a small room if you are going to be eating out most of the time otherwise a larger one if you are going to be cooking yourself most of the time. There are some mid size fridges that would suit if that is the case, a single or two door model would depend on what you want to put in it, 2 door ones have bigger freezers usually

Would the single door one consume more electricity than the 2 doors one ? Which brand should I buy ?
